6-7 Installing an Air Shroud

Air shrouds concentrate airflow to maximize fan efficiency. Use an air shroud for

each node. Make sure that the expansion card (if present) and all components are
installed in each node before installing the air shroud.

Installing the Air Shroud

•

Place the air shroud over the motherboard. The air shroud sits behind the system
fans and goes over the top of the motherboard and its components. Secure by
inserting screws through the tabs and tightening.
