Change Supervisor Password
Select this feature and press <Enter> to access the submenu, and then enter a
new Supervisor Password.
User Access Level (Available when Supervisor Password is set as above)
Use this feature to set the user's access level. Select Full Access to grant the user
full read and write access to the BIOS Setup Utility. Select View Only to allow the
user to view the Setup Utility displays without making any changes. Select Limited
to allow the user to make changes on limited items such as Date and Time, Select
No Access to prevent the user from entering the Setup Utility.
Change User Password
Select this feature and press <Enter> to enter a new User Password.
Clear User Password (Available only if User Password has been set)
This item allows you to clear a user password after it has been entered.
Password Check
Select Setup for the system to check for a password when entering the BIOS Setup
utility. Select Always for the system to check for a password at bootup.
The options
are Setup and Always.
Boot Sector Virus Protection
When Enabled, the AMI BIOS displays a warning message when any program (or
virus) issues a Disk Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector of the
hard disk drive. The options are Enabled and
Disabled .
