ERVER 1025W-U/1025W-UR Manual
6-5 Power
Supply
The SuperServer 1025W-U has a single 560 watt power supply, which is auto-
switching capable. Power must be removed from the system when replacing the
power supply.
The SuperServer 1025W-UR has a 650 watt redundant power supply (two modules),
which is auto-switching capable. This enables it to automatically sense and operate
with a 100V to 240V input voltage. A failed power supply module may be replaced
without powering down the system.
Power Supply Failure
1025W-U
If the power supply module fails, the system will shut down and you will need to
replace the module. Replacements can be ordered directly from Supermicro (see
contact information in the Preface).
As there is only one power supply module in the 1025W-U, power must be com-
pletely removed from the server before removing and replacing the power supply
for whatever reason.
