Chapter 5: Chassis Setup and Maintenance

Drive Tray

Release Tabs

To add ﬁ ve hard drives using a SuperMicro mobile rack:

The SC745 chassis accepts a CSE-M35S (SCSI) or CSE-M35T-1/CSE-M35TQ

mobile rack to install extra hot swappable hard drives. The mobile rack goes into

the storage module which goes into the chassis.

For more information on mobile rack installation and use, refer to the appendix

located at the end of this manual.

1. Open the chassis cover.

2. Locate the drive release tabs.

3. Pull the ﬁ rst drive release tab and push the drive tray toward the front of the

chassis. Repeat this for all three tabs.
