4.2 Headers and Connectors
Fan Headers
There are three 4-pin fan headers (FAN1 - FAN3) on the motherboard. The fan speed control
for these fans are supported by Thermal Management via the BMC interface.

TPM/Port 80 Header
The JTPM1 header is used to connect a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)/Port 80, which
is available from Supermicro (optional). A TPM/Port 80 connector is a security device that
supports encryption and authentication in hard drives. It allows the motherboard to deny
access if the TPM associated with the hard drive is not installed in the system. For more

VROC RAID Key Header
A VROC RAID Key header is located at JRK1 on the motherboard. For NVMe RAID support,
install a VROC RAID Key on JRK1 as shown in the illustration below.
