OPERATION AND CARE OF YOUR APPLIANCE
WARNING
Young children should be carefully supervised when they are in the
same room as the appliance. Toddlers, young children and others
may be susceptible to accidental contact burns. A physical barrier is
recommended if there are at risk individuals in the house. To restrict
access to a fireplace or stove, install an adjustable safety gate to keep
toddlers, young children and other at risk individuals out of the room
and away from hot surfaces.

GAS CONTROLS / CONTROL
COMPARTMENT ACCESS
Fireplace gas controls are located in the lower
control compartment under the firebox (see
Figure 1
). Remove the control compartment
door to access the controls.
Remove the control compartment door
To access the valve open the lower control com-
partment door by pulling on the right and left
top corners of the door. The door is hinged at
the bottom. Remove the control compartment
door by sliding it to the left and then the right
until it disengages from the fireplace corner
post holes (
Figure 2
).
Reinstall the control compartment door
If necessary, reinstall the door by inserting
the tabs on each side of the door into the cor-
responding holes in the control compartment
opening, one side first then the other. Swing
the door gently up and fasten it by pushing it
in until the magnetic latches catch and lock it
in place (
Figure 2
).
