Elbow Heat Shield
If using a 90 degree elbow directly off fireplace, the elbow shield is required. Install per instructions in
Figure 17
.
STEP 1. Locate the two (2) flat elbow
shields.
STEP 2. Bend the three (3) tabs 90
degrees as shown below.
STEP 3. Attach the two (2) shields, as
shown, with screws.
STEP 4. Attach the two (2) shields to the fireplace.
STEP 5. Fold down tab to support rear of shield.
