3. Advance motion detection settings. Use
AREA
to setup motion detection for a selected viewing area. Cameras will
pickup areas of movement like moving tree branches in the back ground and trigger false motion alarm recordings.
The AREA SETUP feature can be used to block out the tree branches, thereby reducing false motion alarms. Anything
around the tree that is moving will trigger the motion detection alarm and start recording. The example below shows
the door area is the only area that will trigger the motion alarm or set off external alarms and start recording.
Make sure you are In “ADVANCE> DETECTION> DETECTION SETUP”. Setup motion detection AREA and push the
ENTER key .
The start area is indicated by the four cursors, move the start cursor using
the LEFT, RIGHT, UP, and DOWN keys. Push the ENTER key to enable
motion start area and push ENTER key again to disable motion area. The
pink shaded area is the motion disabled area.
Press “LEFT” or “RIGHT” to choose the
width of the area.
Press “UP” or “DOWN” to choose the height of
the area, and press “ENTER” again to confi rm.
