
OPERATIONS
RECORDING OPTIONS
The DVR offers four recording modes:
ALARM, TIMER, MANUAL
and
MOTION
Trigger.
1. ALARM
RECORDING:
DVR is triggered by an alarm input indicated by the letter
“A”
and the
symbol
.
2. TIMER
RECORDING:
Recording is scheduled by a timer Indicated by the letter
“T”
.
3. MANUAL
RECORDING
is initiated manually by pressing the
>REC
key. Indicated by the
letter
“M”.
4. MOTION
TRIGGER
RECORDING
is triggered by motion detection. Indicated by the letter
“D”
and the symbol
.
On the monitor screen, you will find the date, time, amount of available hard drive space left and
the letter “M” representing the method of recording that is occurring.
NOTE:
1. When the hard drive or HDDs is full previous recorded files may be overwritten under
O/W
recording mode.
2. Master and Slave hard drive available space indicators are visible on the screen. Master drive
is displayed on the right side and Slave is on the left side.
3. Early warning 3 second buzzer will notify you when you only have 5 GB of hard drive space
available and repeat at 4GB, 3GB, 2GB and 1GB.
