Chapter 4: How to Save, Load and Delete Weld Schedules
The welder has the ability to save weld schedules, which you can then access and load later, saving you the time
it may otherwise require to enter the desired weld parameters manually.
A weld schedule is a set of weld parameters. In other words, if you have discovered that for a particular job, 43
Ws of energy, using the Tight Angles application, with negative agitation, and S+ ignition produces the best
results, you can save those parameters as a weld schedule. Then you can load that weld schedule for the next
time you encounter that particular type of job.
How to Save a Weld Schedule
• Make sure all weld parameters (energy, appli-
cation, agitation, and ignition) are in the desired
configuration.
• Press the Save/Load Button (A) as shown in
Figure 32.1. The Save/Load Screen will appear.
• In the Save/Load Screen, enter a name for the
schedule you wish to save in the box labeled
“Enter Weld Name Here” (B) by touching the
empty box and then entering a name.
• Next, touch the empty box labeled “Enter weld
notes here” (C) and enter whatever notes will
help you identify this particular weld schedule.
• Press the Save As New Button (D) if this
schedule is new. A blue box will appear warning
you to wait 10 seconds for the welder to save
or delete a weld. You can wait for the welder to
automatically close the box or you can press
the Dismiss Button.
• The welder will save the new weld schedule and
display in a list of available schedules.
