Turning Anti-Tip Tubes Up (Fig. 15)
Turn anti-tip tubes up when being pushed by attendant, overcoming obstacles or climb-
ing kerbs.
1. Press the rear anti-tip tube release pin.
2. Hold pin in and turn anti-tip tube up.
3. Release pin.
4. Repeat with second anti-tip tube.
5. Remember to return anti-tip tubes to down position after completing manoeuvre.

Folding chair
1. Remove quick-release wheels (optional).
a. Depress quick-release button.
b. Remove wheel by sliding out quick-release axle from axle bracket.
c. Repeat with other wheel.
2. Flip up the footplates to a vertical position before folding the wheelchair.
3. Grasp the seat sling (in the centre) and lift sharply until the wheelchair is folded.
4. Unlatch stabiliser bar. Depress thumb button. Swing bar out of the way.
Unfolding Chair
1. Replace quick-release wheel (optional) by depressing the quick-release button on
the axle.
2. Slide it into the axle sleeve until it locks.
3. Repeat with other wheel.
4. Tilt the wheelchair toward you far enough to take the weight off the opposite wheel.
5. Push down on the seat rail (closest to you) until the wheelchair is completely
opened.
6. Make sure seat rail tubes are resting in the frame saddles.
7. Reattach stabiliser bar. Swing bar back into place. Depress thumb button to latch.
L. PoSITIonInG BELT (oPTIonAL)
Installation (Fig. 16) Recommended Location
1. Remove left wheel to gain access to the backrest nut and bolt assembly.
2. Remove standard backrest bolt and nut assembly from wheelchair.
3. Using new nut and bolt assembly provided with belt kit, attach one end of the belt
to the rear frame tube and tighten nut and bolt assembly.
4. Follow the same procedure on the right side of wheelchair.
noTE— If a different belt orientation is preferred, another mounting location may be used. Always
use appropriate mounting hardware and verify that installation does not obstruct operation
of the wheelchair.
M. CHECK-oUT
After the wheelchair is assembled and adjusted, it should roll smoothly and easily. All
accessories should also perform smoothly. If you have any problems, follow these proce-
dures:
1. Review the set-up and check-out sections and operating guide to make sure chair
was properly prepared.
2. Review troubleshooting guide.
3. If your problem persists, contact your authorised supplier. If you still have a problem
