70° Legrest
Fitting
Follow the instructions for the fitting and
removal of legrests as stated on page
21 and the adjustment of the footplates
as stated on page 22. See Fig. 18 and 19
below.
WARNING
With the leg in an elevated position it is
more likely that the user could injure the
leg on obstacles in the environment. Make
sure that you are aware of your terrain
and be cautious when driving the chair
that your leg cannot impact on anything
around you.
Do not drive your chair too close to any
source of open flame. With your leg in an
elevated position you may not know that
the bottom of the footplate is getting
hot.
Inspect the legrest, footplate and heel
loop regularly for signs of damage or
wear. Damage to the legrest could result
in the users leg being dropped and could
cause injury.
Cleaning Instructions
Footrest - Clean with a damp soapy
cloth.
Paintwork - Clean with a damp soapy
cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
cloths.
Make sure that the legrest is completely
dry before using.
