4. Mount the CD-ROM drive.

5. To install the software, as superuser, type:

The following is displayed:

The installation program checks if Sun Expert3D software is already installed. If a
version of Sun Expert3D software is installed, the program checks to determine the
version.

■

If a version of Sun Expert3D software is already installed and it is lower than the
version you are installing from the CD-ROM, then the program prompts you to
confirm an upgrade to the latest release. It then installs the latest version.
