Assembly

1. Position the diskette drive data cable assembly into the chassis (

2. Close the two cable routing clips (

3. Connect the diskette drive data cable assembly connectors to the following:

■

Riser board (J9)

■

Diskette drive

Note –

Ensure that the cable assembly connectors are properly oriented by aligning

the connector keys.

4. If you moved the fan assembly, replace it.

See “Replacing the Fan Assembly” on page 6-16.

5. Detach the wrist strap, replace the system cover, and power on the system as

described in Chapter 9.
