3.6 Maximum and Minimum POST Levels
Two levels of POST are available: maximum (

) level and minimum (

) level.
The system initiates the selected level of POST based upon the setting of
diag-level
, an NVRAM variable. The default setting for

diagnostic-level tests. This mode requires approximately two minutes to complete
(with 128 Mbytes of DIMM installed).
