section, safety bar, or vehicle safety hook.
C CA AU UT TIIO ON N -- Do not load the head end storage flat above the safe working load of 40 lb (18 kg).
To install the head end storage flat (Figure 24):
1. Install the V Ve ellccrro o® straps (A) near the pneumatic cylinder and around the cross tube (C) of the retractable head section.
2. Buckle the restraint straps (B) around the outer rails of the retractable head section.

The S SM MR RT T Pak is designed to be compatible with the P Po ow we err--P PR RO O XT, P Po ow we err--P PR RO O IT, and P Po ow we err--P PR RO O TL cots.
To maximize available battery power, only use S SM MR RT T Paks that have been charged within the last 48 hours.
To install the S SM MR RT T Pak:
1. Align the tabs in the battery enclosure.
2. Push the S SM MR RT T Pak into the enclosure until the latch clicks into place.
The S SM MR RT T Pak can remain on the P Po ow we err--P PR RO O cot between service calls for up to one week or until the cot battery LED
indicator flashes amber.
