3. Proceed to remove the air filter by pulling it out towards you.
4. Wash the air filter in solvent or kerosene and allow to dry.
5. Lubricate the filter using clean motor oil.
6. Thoroughly squeeze the filter removing excess oil. (Fig. a)
7. Replace air filter back into the engine.
8. Reinstall the air cleaner cover.
9. Secure the maintenance cover (5) back onto the side panel of the generator, and tighten the cover screw securely (3).
IMPORTANT.
Never run the engine without the air filter element in place.
