GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELECTRIC TOOLS
Read the safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool.
Failure to follow all instructions below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
1) SAFETY IN A WORKPLACE
- The workplace must be kept clean and well lit. Clutter and dark spaces are often the cause of accidents.
- Do not use power tools in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. Sparks in the power tool may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and other persons away from the power tool when using it. If you are disturbed, you may
lose control of your activity.
2) ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- The plug of the power tool must match the outlet. Never modify the power cord in any way. Never connect
a tool that has a safety pin to the power cord plug with splitters or other adapters. Undamaged plugs and
matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock. Damaged or tangled power cords increase the risk of
electric shock. If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special mains cord available from the
manufacturer or his authorized representative.
