- When the idle setting is correct, the auger should not rotate. Otherwise, with the engine running, turn
(clockwise) the T-shaped adjusting screw until the auger bit starts to rotate. Then turn the screw (anti-
clockwise) until the auger comes to a complete stop.
- -When the engine idling power is set correctly, the engine should run smoothly in each position - the engine
power should be low enough to prevent the auger from rotating.
AIR FILTER CLEANING
1. Remove the air filter cover bolt.
2. Remove the air filter cover.
3. Remove the air filter and wash with soapy water. Do not use petrol or any other solvents.
4. Allow the air filter to dry. Then refit the air filter, replace the air filter cover and secure with the screw.
FUEL FILTER CLEANING
- If insufficient fuel is supplied to the engine, open the fuel filler cap and check the fuel filter for contamination.
- If the tool is used without a fuel filter installed, dirt will accumulate in the carburetor, resulting in engine
damage.
CHECKING THE SPARK PLUG
-
Periodically remove and clean the spark plug.
- Remove any dirt with a metal brush.
- Check and restore the correct electrode gap. The recommended distance is 0.6 -
0.7 mm.
- Refit the spark plug and tighten it with a wrench as far as it will go.
- In the case of burnt electrodes or worn insulation and every 25 hours of operation,
the spark plug must be replaced with a new one with the same parameters.
EXHAUST CHECK
WARNING:
-
Check regularly that the exhaust fasteners are not loose and that the exhaust itself is not
damaged or corroded.
- If there are signs of exhaust leakage outside the exhaust, stop using the machine and have it repaired by an
authorized service center. Otherwise there is a risk of ignition of the engine.
INTAKE COOLING FAN CHECK
- Check and, if necessary, clean the cooling suction fan and around the cooling fins of the cylinder after every
25 hours of use.
- Note that the plug cover must be removed to access the cylinder.
- If dirt is caught around the fan or between the ribs of the roller, the tool may overheat and be mechanically
damaged.
CHECKING THE TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL
- Check the transmission oil level after every 50 hours of use and change the oil if necessary.
- The recommended oil is (SAE 10W-30 2T).
