Using the Boost function
1. Touching the heating zone selection control and then use the slider to
select an ongoing simmer power level.
2. If necessary, touch the relevant heating zone
selection control key again until the power level
indicator is flashing. Then touch the boost control
key; the zone indicator shows ‘B’ and the power is
set to the maximum level.
1. Touch the heating zone selection control that you
wish to cancel the boost function on.
2. Touch the “Boost” control to cancel the Boost function,
then the cooking zone will revert to its original setting.

The function can work on any cooking zone although it is not possible to boost all four zones at the
same time. This is because power boosting involves a zone temporarily ‘borrowing’ extra power
from an adjacent zone.

The cooking zone returns to its original setting after 5 minutes.
•
If the original heat setting equals 0, it will return to 9 after 5 minutes.
