6” BADGER SPEED ADJUSTMENT
THE SPEED CONTROL
The adjustable speed control feature allows
for rotational speed adjustment within the
speed ranges of the selected viscous fluid.
For the fastest speed setting, the Shaft
Adjust Sleeve (BA 303) is backed out all the
way against the shoulder of the shaft.
The slowest speed setting is about 1-1/4 turn
inward. Do not force the adjustment in this
direction.

ADJUSTING THE SPEED CONTROL
To adjust the speed, hold the wrench flats on
the shaft while turning the Shaft Adjust Sleeve
with a 1¼” Open End Wrench. This Badger uses
fast viscous fluid for speed control and bearing
lubrication.
TECH TIP:
When making adjustments, it is recommended to
adjust the sleeve about a quarter turn beyond the
desired setting and then backing it off a quarter
turn, thus allowing the viscous fluid to equalize
more uniformly.
