• Place the drive belt around the pulley inside the
mounting plate. It is absolutely necessary that
the reverse of the drive belt lies against the
guide roller at "C" = white belt guide roller!
• Tighten the drive belt by twisting knob "E" until
there is a distance of approx 5 mm between the
knob and the pipe.
NOTE!
The panel above the side brush (11:M) functions as
collision protection (11:L) together with the
torsion spring (11:J).
6.10.1 Adjusting the side brush
"H" = Adjust the side brush height by turning the
star knob with the threaded bar.
"N" = Adjust the side brush angle with the screw
in the oval hole, for example when sweeping
gutters.
"K" = If the side brush is temporarily not used the
locking pin (11:G) at "K" must be removed and
the front side brush arm folded up so that the lock
pin can be folded under the pipe in resting position
"K" (figure 12).
6.10.2 Removing the side brush
When removing the side brush the screw, spring
washer and washer in position "D" must be
unscrewed and the side brush arm slid forward
completely. Pull out the drive belt on the side
beside the pulley.
6.10.3 Installing the side brush
First position the drive belt and then screw on the
side brush arm at "D" again.
6.11 INSTALLING THE BRUSH
ROLLER
• Remove the tension bar (13:S) to the right in the
direction of travel from the sweeping deck
housing. Undo the three nuts in the bearing cup
(13:E) and pull out the bearing.
• Pull out the drive pipe and insert the two part
brush roller (13:B) in the machine so that the
145 mm large, round depression is turned
towards the chain cover to the right (13:L).
• Then install the drive pipe with bearing and
tension lever in reverse order.
7 OPERATION
7.1 INSTALLING THE BRUSH
ROLLER (14)
• Set both the support wheels (14:K) with the
twist handles (14:F) so that approx 4 cmof the
brush roller lies against the ground.
• Ensure that both support wheels are set the
same according to the marking on the scale
(14:D)!
NOTE!
If the brush roller is set too low it does not
give better sweeping results.
Warning! The sweeper must never rest
on the brush. Use the support wheels
available as extra accessories.
7.2 ANGEL SETTING (15)
When setting the machine, ensure that front edge
of the sweeping deck (15:B) is always higher than
the rear edge (15:A) (approx 5 mm).
7.3 SETTING THE COLLECTOR
• Use the knobs on both guide rails to set the
collector (10:C) at an even distance from the
ground of 4 cm, note the marking on the scale!
Warning! Never lift the sweeping deck
when the collector is full!
