Type of users

This machine is intended for use by 

consumers, i.e. non-professional operators. 

It is intended for "hobby-related activities".

 3.2  SAFETY SIGNS

The machine has various symbols on 

it (fig. 2). Their function is to remind 

the operator of the correct conduct for 

use, with due care and caution.

Meanings of the symbols:

ATTENTION -

 

DANGER

The failure to use this machine 

correctly can be hazardous 

for oneself and others. 

ATTENTION

Read the owner's manual 

before using the machine.

Use safety goggles.

Use hearing protections.

Use thick non-slip 

protective gloves.

Do not leave the machine in the 

rain (or in damp conditions)

CUTTING HAZARD 

Keep hands and feet 

away from the blades.

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD

Pay attention to overhead 

electrical power lines when cutting.

ATTENTION

Any damaged or illegible decals must 

be replaced. Order replacement decals 

from an Authorised Service Centre.

 3.3  PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION LABEL

The product identification label 

provides the following data (fig. 1 ):

Conformity marking

Month/Year of manufacture

Type of machine

Serial number

6. 

Name and address of Manufacturer

7. 

Article code

Write the identification data of the 

machine in the specific space on the 

label on the back of the cover page.

ATTENTION

State the identification data on the product 

identification label whenever you contact 

an Authorised Service Centre.

NOTE

An example of the Declaration of Conformity 

is provided on the last pages of this manual.

 3.4  MAIN COMPONENTS

The machine is composed of a series 

of main components that have the 

following functions (Fig.1 ):

A.  Engine

: supplies the drive power 

to the cutting means.

B.  Commands: 

these are the 

main throttle controls.

C.  Rear hand grip

: Support hand grip 

located on the rear part of the command 

rod. It is taken with the right hand. 

D.  Front hand grip

: Support hand 

grip located on the command rod. 

It is taken with the left hand. 

E.  Machine support

: a piece which, when 

attached to the battery backpack, helps 

supporting the machine during operation.

F.  Connection point:

 point in which the 

machine is attached to the battery backpack.

G.  Blade (cutting means)

: the element 

designed to cut the vegetation.

H.  Blade protection

 (for machine 

transport and handling): protects against
