13. Troubleshooting
Note
At temperatures below -15 °C the high limit safety cut-out
may respond. The appliance may be subjected to these
temperatures during storage or transport.
Fault

The water does not heat
up and the ON/OFF indi-

Remedy the cause of the
fault. Replace the con-

14. Maintenance
For some maintenance work you must remove the lower cover.
If you need to drain the appliance, observe chapter "Draining the
appliance".
Note the insertion depths of the controller-limiter combination
(see chapter "Specification / Dimensions and connections").
Immersion heater accessory:

Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.
Before any work on the appliance, disconnect all poles
of the appliance from the power supply.
14.1 Checking the safety valve

Check the safety valve regularly.
14.2 Draining the appliance
WARNING Burns
Hot water may escape during draining.
Note
For filling, venting and draining the system, open the
non-return valves of the compact heat pump installations.

Turn the adjusting screws of the compact heat pump
installations so that the slot is aligned with the di-
rection of flow. The adjusting screw of the WPKI-H
non-return valve is located behind the thermometer.

After filling, venting or draining the system, turn the
adjusting screws again through 90°.
If the appliance needs to be drained for maintenance or to protect
the whole installation when there is a risk of frost, proceed as
follows:

Drain the appliance using the drain valve.
