15. maintenance
15.1.1 maintenance work
A requirement for long-lasting operational readiness and safety,
reliability and a long service life is an annual appliance service
by the contractor.
Danger to life through electrocution!
Even when the appliance is off, electric power is present
at the terminals of the air conditioning appliance. Prior
to maintenance work, always disconnect the power
supply. Ensure that it is secured against unintentional
reconnection
.
Clean the air conditioning appliance once a year:

Vacuum the heat exchanger thoroughly with the vacuum
cleaner.
f
Clean the air outlet duct with a dry, soft cloth. If necessary,
clean the air outlet with lukewarm water and a mild soap
solution. Then let it dry thoroughly.

Clean the filter mats.
f
Check the correct condensate drain by pouring at least one
litre of warm soapy water slowly and evenly over the heat
exchanger into the condensate tray. use the soapy water to
loosen production residues and wash then out of the internal
appliance.
15.1.2 maintenance intervals
Air conditioning appliances should be serviced once a year, directly
after the main period of use.
15.1.3 reduced maintenance intervals
Air conditioning appliances which are used under critical environ-
mental conditions should be serviced several times in the first year
of operation. Further maintenance intervals must be specifically
determined by our customer service.
