INSTALLATION
FIRST START-UP
Steam pipe installation
The condensation chamber prevents steam from escaping. On
malfunction, the steam must be removed by a pipe. The owner
must install a steam pipe for this purpose.
Risk of injury!
The steam pipe fitted by the customer may not be sealed
off!
If a drain funnel is used, the steam pipe must end 20 mm
above the funnel!
»
For surface-mounting, slide the fast connector (straight)
along the steam pipe connection up to the stop (approx.
28 mm (Optional the fast connector (90°) for concealed
connection).
»
Assemble the steam pipe and insert in the fast connector up
to the stop.
»
The steam pipe must be conveyed across a drain funnel or
coil on installation.
9.5 Electrical
connection
Electrical connections may be fastened to a permanently fitted
pipe only, using the built-in cable clip. The unit is designed for
an AC main and must be separable from the main with a break of
at least 3 mm all-pole, e.g. by fuses.
