Service Port
Certain functions can be provided with further parameters via the service port (PC interface) using the appropriate PC
con
fi
guration software* and connecting cables*. The functions depend on the PC software version and the
fi
rmware of
the SHE control panel system. The service timer can only be reset via the software.
Start up procedure and trial run
Without mains voltage, without battery
Check all parts mechanically and electrically to ensure they have been
fi
rmly screwed together and are undamaged.
The terminals: Connect the compressed gas generators and the operating controls and, where applicable, the automatic
detectors.
Do not plug in the battery fuse!
With mains voltage, with battery
Switch on the mains power supply. Plug in the battery fuse.
Control panel visual displays
The slider switch must be set to “active“. A maximum of 100 seconds after plugging in the battery fuse and
switching on the mains supply check:
green LED
OK
- unit functioning properly - illuminated.
red LED
- SHE activation - not illuminated.
yellow LED
- malfunction - not illuminated.
green LED/ON compressed gas generators are “active“ - illuminated.

SHE manual call point
Press the SHE OPEN
button.
The compressed gas generators will be activated. The NSHEVs will open when the compressed gas generators ignite
and the pressure media installed in the NSHEVs (CO
2
or N
2
gas) is released. The red LED indicator
- SHE activated
- is illuminated at all SHE manual call points. The green LED operational indicator
OK
goes out. On the TRZ Plus DG
module the LED is now
fl
ashing, indicating “OFF“.
Test the emergency power supply
Disconnect mains power supply: the green LED
OK
indicating “unit functioning properly“ goes out; the yellow LED
-
fl
ashes indicating “malfunction“. Press the
SHE OPEN button. The NSHEVs will open when the compressed gas
generators ignite and the pressure media installed in the NSHEVs (CO
2
or N
2
gas) is released. The red LED
indicating “SHE activated“ is illuminated, the green LED
OK
OK indicating “unit functioning properly“ is not
illuminated. On the TRZ Plus DG module the LED continues to
fl
ash, indicating “OFF“. Once the activation has been
successfully completed, the slider switch must be switched to the “secured“ position. Press the CLOSED
button on
one of the SHE manual call points. The red LED
indicator “SHE activated“ goes out on all SHE manual call points.
The yellow LED indicator

ashes indicating “malfunction“ (

The compressed gas generators and the NSHEV energy sources - CO
2
/N
2
bottles - must be replaced and the dome
lights must be correctly closed. The slider switch in the central control unit should then be switched to the “active“
position. On the TRZ Plus DG module the green LED is now illuminated indicating “ON“. The yellow LED indicator

ashes indicating “malfunction“ (
fl
ash code 1). Switch on mains voltage again: the malfunction indicator goes out and the
green LED
OK
- illuminates after a short time indicating “unit functioning properly“.
