Wing Construction Cont.

Install W3 turbulator spanning ribs R1-R3 to

forward most notch in ribs. Note: Turbulator

sits 3/32 in. proud of rib tops. Use scrap

balsa to verify that W3 is properly seated.

Install end ribs R4 to right and left of wing

panel.

☐

Install W6 to corners of wing assembly at

trailing edge of ribs R1.

Install W6 to corners of wing assembly at

trailing edge of ribs R4.

Working only with the

LEFT

W5 wing tip,

moisten with glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol

to make it flexible then proceed to next step.

Starting at the trailing edge and working

forward tack glue and wrap wing tip to follow

contour of rib centerline aligning with notches

in R4.
