6.3.3 Checking the emergency shutdown mechanism
1.
Press the emergency shut-down button on the auxiliary boxes while the column lifts
are moving. All column lifts must immediately come to a standstill.
2.
Turn de emergency shut-down button anticlockwise to release it and set the main
switch(s) to 0 and, next, to 1.
3.
Press the <SELECT> button to ensure that there is again control voltage.
6.3.4 Checking the safety locking feature
1.
Raise the lift to the first locking position above the floor and lower it into the safety
locks.
2.
Check whether the adjusting nut of the solenoid of the mechanical safety lock have
a clearance of 1/8”-5/32”. If not, adjust the nut at the rear side of the solenoid to get
within this clearance range.
3.
Raise the lift to the highest position and lower it into the locks.
4.
Check (but do not adjust) the clearance of the nut at the back of the solenoid. This
clearance should be at least 1/8”.
5.
Adjust the top position end stop using the potentiometer adjustment rod, such that
the bottom of the guide block is 68 1/2" to 69 1/4" above the bottom plate (see
).
