5. SYSTÈME 7 SEL EVO electrolyser operating principle
The electrolyser operates based on the principle of salt water electrolysis.
The electrolyser box sends a low voltage electric current to a cell (electrode).
This cell must be placed at the installation backflow (after the analysis sensors, booster pump, heat pump or warmer).
This cell contains several titanium plates that have been specially treated using precious metal oxides (number of
plates depending on the pool volume).
The pool water, which has a very low salt content (
4 g/l), passes into the electrolysis cell and is converted into sodium
hypochlorite (bleach), which is a powerful disinfectant.

6. Evolution: SYSTÈME 7 SEL EVO electrolyser
The SYSTÈME 7 SEL EVO electrolyser has had a technology upgrade:
• Power supply adapted to the bipolar electrode (120 watts).
• Features:
-
Electrode model configuration to limit the intensity of the current and extend electrode
service life.
-
Water hardness configuration to adapt the polarity reversal time.
• Alarms:
-
3 electrode status detection levels.
• Vessel:
-
Clear vessel.
-
Electrode positioned using 2 poka yokes.
-
Off-centre ø 50 or 63 mm connections for easier installation.
-
Option: extra adaptable module.
• Electrode:
-
Bipolar electrode: floating plate between 2 polarised plates.
-
Optimised chlorine production.
-
Further improved service life.
Note: box, vessel and electrode not compatible with the previous Stérilor line.
Stérilor nevertheless keeps spare parts available for all generations of appliances.
