1 Introduction
This document describes the configuration of the Pulse System using:

1.1 Pulse System Overview
STENTOFON Pulse is an IP-based intercom system for upto 16
intercom stations. The system works with all STENTOFON IP intercom
stations. In addition, it is possible to extend the system with up to 10

-party SIP terminals and 4 SIP gateways. One of the STENTOFON
IP intercom stations is designated as the
Pulse Server
, which acts as
a SIP server, managing how calls are set up and routed, and also is the
single point for configuration of all intercom stations in the system.

All IP intercom stations in a Pulse installation must be located on
the same LAN (IP subnet).
1.2 Pulse SIP Licenses
The SIP station license allows you to extend your system with IP
telephones, IP DECT cordless phones, and PC and mobile VoIP clients.
The SIP trunking license allows you to connect to other telephone
systems using SIP trunks or analog and mobile network gateways.
