POCKET PAGING
This feature requires additional equipment. The pagers are
connected to the AlphaCom E exchange server.
If the subscriber does not have a pager, the paging

attempt is ignored.
Search:
Call the subscriber number

Press 9 (Search list).

For users with pagers, the pager option is usually fi rst on the list.
Paging With Answer Option
Waiting for an answer:
Dial the intercom station number.

Dial 45 (Wait for an answer).
2.
Wait for the paged person to answer from any intercom
3.
station.
The default time-out period for answering is 30 seconds.
When the paged person answers, an ordinary intercom
conversation is set up with the person who initiated the paging.
If no one answers:
Dial the intercom station number.

Dial 47 (Leave a voice message).
2.
Dial the message number (660-669) and any extra

digits.

Reference Guide on page 39.
Press M if you don’t want to enter the extra digits.
4.
When the paged person answers by dialing the paging answer
code from any intercom station, the voice message is played back.
The person initiating the paging gets an acknowledge mes-
sage when the paging has been answered.
No conversation with the paged person is possible.
