General information
This underwater lighting has been designed for pools for full use un-
der water. It is a class III electrical device with very low voltage for
safety reasons (12V AC). The bulb complies with IPX8 protection
(resistance to penetration by dust, moisture and foreign bodies) at
an immersion depth of 2 m. In addition this incorporates the interna-
tional safety standards for lighting, in particular standard EN 60598-
2-18.
The manufacturer is not responsible under any circumstances for

Installation instructions
To avoid
any
blinding effects, the
spotlights
should be installed fac-
ing away from the property and the usual line of sight to the swim-
ming pool.
So you don’t have to
empty the pool when changing the lamps
, we
recommend installing the lamps in areas which are
easily accessible
from the upper edge of the pool
Before installation, check that the sealing nut (No. 8 + 20) is fully
tightened
The spotlights should be placed on the wall of the pool about 400-
700 mm away from the surface of the water (Fig. 1)
The procedure for attaching the housing to the pool wall depends on
whether the lights are for a concrete pool or a ready-made pool.
Concrete pool
To install underwater lighting in a concrete swimming pool , the
housing (No. 12) should be fixed into the wall of the swimming pool
(Fig. 2). Ensure that the cable outlet is on the upper side of the hous-
ing.
Ready-made pools
To install lighting in a ready-made pool, cut a circular hole with a di-
ameter of 270 mm (Fig. 2).
From the inside, insert the housing (No 12) with one of the sealing
rings (No 17.) attached on top. Fix the housing and the swimming
pool panel using S screws or bolts (not included). When the lining is
in position, fix the clamp (No 18) with the other sealing rings (No 17)
and with 16 screws included (No 19) (Fig, 3).
Ensure that the cable outlet stays on the upper side of the housing.
After installing the housing and the clamp, mount the under water
lighting in a ready made pool
to connect the light to the mains, pass the cable through the sealing
nut (4). Tighten the sealing nut until you can check that the cable
gives when you pull on it by hand.
Take the necessary precautions to ensure you leave 1.5 m of coiled
cable on the base of the underwater lighting (No.11) so you are able
to put the light on the edge of the pool, or you can remove it when
changing the bulb or during other necessary maintenance (Fig. 4).
Push the whole lighting components into the housing (Fig. 5).
Tighten the two M-6 x 70 screws (No 15) until the fixing bracket fits
securely on the inner wall of the housing (Fig. 7).
