The operation of the conveyor is done through the
gear box, as shown on figure 26, there are three adjustable
positions. The positions are used as follows:
Position 1
: is used for low flow rates (fertilizers
under 1,500 kg/ha).
Position 2
: is used in higher rates (fertilizers above
1,500 kg/ha).
Position 0
: dead band, gears spin when empty.
IMPORTANT!
Gear changes(positions) should only be
done
- Conveyor gear box adjustment
, when the machine is stopped!
ATTENTION!
Do not drive in reverse with the conveyor drive-wheel engaged in the working
position(see below).
The gear box should be adjusted in a way that, when the conveyor drive-wheel is in the
working position, the drive-shaft/cardan angle should be the smallest possible. To do so, adjust the
transmission gear box in relation to the drive-wheel angle with the conveyor drive box (see figure
27).
NOTE:
The gear box should be in a favorable position, with relation of the conveyor drive wheel,
when in the working position. See figure 27.
