Sclects the im m ediate print m ode, in w hich the printer prints each
churucter as soon as received. A t every pause in the incom ing data stream
the printer scrolls the paper up about 2 inches so that the current line
cun be seen. W hen the next character is received the paper is scrolled
back dow n and printing continues. This com m and is ignored when friction
Iced is used.

The printer’s On Line indicator does n ot go off.
