ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 5

NOTE:

  Refer to the illustration below. Be careful not to damage the Sensor on the 

METER(13)

 when 

disassembling or installing the 

METER(13).

By hand or by using a simple tool remove the 

METER(13)

 from the 

LEFT

 and 

RIGHT COVERS(35, 36).

 

Install an AAA battery into the 

METER(13),

 the battery is not included. See page 9 for detailed battery 

installation  instructions.  Press  the 

METER(13)

  back  into  the  opening  between  the 

LEFT

  and 

RIGHT 

COVERS(35, 36).

STEP 4

NOTE: 

The 

RIGHT PEDAL(38)

 has 

R

 stamped on the end of the pedal shaft. The 

RIGHT PEDAL(38)

 

has  right  hand  threads  and  is  tightened  by  turning  clockwise. The 

LEFT PEDAL(37)

  has 

L

 

stamped  on  the  end  of  the  pedal  shaft. The 

LEFT PEDAL(37)

  has  left  hand  threads  and  is 

tightened by turning counterclockwise.

Thread the 

RIGHT PEDAL(38)

 to the right side of the 

CRANK(5)

 as shown. Tighten the pedal securely. 

The shoulder of the 

PEDALS(37, 38)

 should be in contact with the 

CRANK(5)

 when securely tightened. 

Do the same to attach the 

LEFT PEDAL(37)

 to the left side of the 

CRANK(5).
