2.3 Purpose of these instructions
When working in hazardous areas, the safety of personnel and plant depends on
complying with all relevant safety regulations.
For this reason, the assembly and maintenance personnel working in such plants/
systems bear a particular responsibility. The precondition for this is an accurate
knowledge of the applicable regulations and provisions.
This manual briefly summarises the most important safety measures. It is intended to
supplement the relevant regulations which must be studies by the personnel responsible.
