is on the upper side of the unit (see arrow in fig. 2).
Remove the two screws of the lamp compartment
cover, then remove the cover itself. Now the two
lampholders are easily accessible.

2) For replacing a lamp, carefully remove the defec-
tive lamp from its lampholder.
3) Do not touch the new lamp with your fingers. Finger
marks burn in and reduce the luminous power. Use
a soft, clean cloth for inserting the new lamp into
the lampholder.
4) Close the lamp compartment again and screw
down its cover.

Mounting
1) Use a support for projectors or a sturdy mounting
screw to fix the unit via its mounting bracket to the
desired location (e. g. to a crossbar or to a horizon-
tal T-bar of a lighting stand).
2) For aligning the unit, release the two setscrews on
the mounting bracket, adjust the desired inclination
of the unit and retighten the setscrews.

Setting the Unit into Operation
Note: When the unit is set into operation for the first
time, a slight smoke and/or smell may develop. This is
not a sign of malfunction.
1) For setting the unit into operation, connect the
mains plug to a socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus, the
unit is switched on and throws a light pattern on the
illuminated area.
For a more convenient operation, connect the
unit to a mains socket to be switched on and off via
a light switch.
2) The integrated microphone (model LE-170: on the
inside of the unit, model LE-172: on the rear side of
the unit) causes the light beams to move to the
rhythm of the music. For this purpose, switch on a
music system and adjust it to the corresponding
volume. In case the music control does not work
optimally, modify the music volume or the distance
between speaker and light effect unit.
3) To switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug
from the socket or set the corresponding light
switch of the socket to “Off”.

mounting location must be selected in such a way
that a sufficient air circulation is ensured during
operation. The air vents of the housing must not
be covered (e. g. by curtains, etc.).
