3.6 Application example
The application example allows the user to build an EtherCAT network with a master node implemented using
TwinCAT software tool and a slave node implemented using the
STEVAL-ETH001V1 .
Once the hardware has been assembled by following the guidelines described in the previous paragraphs, it is
necessary to flash the code available in the
STSW-ETHDRV01V1 firmware package, use TwinCAT to open the
project available in the Utilities folder and run the application. UM2808, freely available at www.st.com , describes
how the application runs.
