a damp atmosphere (bathroom, sauna) or close
to an electrical appliance connected to the
mains and the ground, or even piping connec-
ted to the ground. A patient's simultaneous
connection to high-frequency surgical equip-
ment may cause burns at the contact points of
the stimulator's electrodes and the stimulator
may possible be damaged. Operation in the
immediate vicinity of a short-wave therapy
apparatus may cause instabilities in the power
output from the stimulator.

edge of an item of clothing or underwear with its
clip.

Take the wire guide and bring it up to the plugs
so as to separate the dark blue + grey group
from the light blue + grey group. Connect the
electrodes to the appliance as shown in the fol-
lowing pages.

USING THE SPORT-ELEC EVOLUTION for the body

Battery life: 1 month if used for 20 mn/day. If not

used for long periods, remove batteries from case.

Check that the switch for the

» is on "0" and that the power-on

buttons are at minimum (pushed to the left).
Open the "battery" compartment and insert 2
9 V batteries into the compartment and then
close the case. Comply with + and - indications.

Take the 6 electrodes and carefully remove the
holder which protects each of them, moisten
them one by one, spreading a few drops of
water on the adhesive gel with the tips of your
fingers and wait for 2 minutes.

The electrodes must be placed symmetrically, for
example: on the stomach - to the left, 2 dark blue
and 1 grey connections, to the right, 2 light blue
and 1 grey connections. Place the electrodes on
previously washed and dried skin, always
respecting a "triangular" arrangement.
