Electrical
The motor used on the SPECTRUM Systems are pump and motor combinations. The motor is available in
220V 50Hz 1 Phase. Each SPECTRUM System is equipped with an 2.4 metre electrical cord w/o plug.
Ensure that the electrical circuit supplying the system is compatible with the requirements of the specific
SPECTRUM model being installed.
NOTE:
It is recommended that a qualified electrician wire the system in accordance with
thelocal and national electrical codes.
CAUTION
NOTE:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock the incoming power supply must include a
protective earth ground.
SPECTRUM Systems are controlled with a high pressure switch in the permeate line. The liquid pressure
switch turns the system on when the permeate water pressure drops below 2.8 bar and off when the
permeate water pressure exceeds 4.1 bar.
Pre-filtration
SPECTRUM Systems are supplied with a carbon block filter. Change the cartridge once a month or when a
1 bar differential exists between the two pre-filter gauges.
NOTE:
The system must be operated on filtered water only.
Pump
The pump type used on the SPECTRUM Systems is multi-stage centrifugal stainless steel. If any damage
occurs to the system’s pump a re-build kit may be available. Contact the local dealer or distributor and
inform them of the system pump model.
Mounting
The free standing system should be bolted down or securely fastened in compliance with local regulation
standards.
