5. Reassemble the connectors. If necessary, wrap
PTFE tape around the connector to ensure a
water-tight seal.
6. After replacing the protection cap, allow water to run through the circuit for a few minutes,
then remove the cap to confirm that the connections are not leaking (i.e. no water drops or
moisture on the connectors).
7. Fit the protection cap. The source is ready for use.
6.3
Cleaning the External Filter
For safe operation of the flow meter and to avoid blocking or reducing the water flow by
particles, an external particle filter is attached to the water input. This is easy to access and
clean and should also be cleaned as part of the routine maintenance procedure.
Note
If you remove the filter from the hose, observe the flow direction when reconnecting.
To clean the external filter:
1. Switch off the water cooling supply.
2. Unscrew the cover on the blue filter on the water input line.
3. Remove the white filter.
