Meter Description
1. Test Lead Storage Position 1 – Probe tips spaced for insertion into AC outlet
2. Test Lead Storage Position 2 – Probe tips concealed for pocket storage

the two indicators show whether the polarity is positive or negative. See
illustration below.
When both LED indicators are illuminated, the voltage tester is measuring
AC voltage and you should use the AC voltage scale on the left side of the
When only one LED indicator is illuminated, the voltage tester is measur-
ing DC voltage. If only the “+ “or positive LED is illuminated, the polarity
is DC +. If the “- “or negative LED is illuminated, the polarity is DC -.
