There are 6 num bered preset but t ons on t he RC, wit h which you can st ore and recall st at ions for each band
( 18 FM, 12 MW) . Select a st at ion, t hen press and hold a preset butt on. The st at ion w ill be saved in t he
m em ory under the corresponding num ber. To recall a st ored st at ion, press t he corresponding preset but t on.

Aut o st ore: Select a band, press and hold P.SCN/ RPT but t on on t he RC t o enter aut o store m ode. The
radio will aut om at ically st ore 6 stat ions t o the 6 preset m em ories of t he current band. To st op aut o st ore,
press t he but t on again.
N ot e : During aut o st at ion preset, t he unit will search and st ore st at ions wit h t he st rong signal first , and then
weaker signal st at ions unt il t he m em ories are full.

Preset scan: Select a band, press P.SCN/ RPT but t on on t he RC to scan all preset stat ions in the m em ories
of t he current band. To stop preset scan, press t he but t on again.
RD S ba ck gr oun d
RDS service availabilit y varies wit h areas. Please under stand if RDS service is not available in you area, t he
following service is not available.
AF ( Alt er n a t ive fr e qu e n cies) fun ct ion
Briefly press AF but t on on t he RC to enable AF funct ion. When t he radio signal st rengt h is poor, enabling t he
AF funct ion will allow t he unit t o aut om at ically search anot her st at ion wit h t he sam e PI (Program
I dent ificat ion) as t he current st at ion but wit h st ronger signal st rengt h.
N ot e : AF indicat or on t he display w ill flash unt il RDS inform at ion is received. I f RDS service is not available in
your area, t urn off t he AF m ode.
