Place t he t rim ring ( 5) over t he unit and the inst allat ion is com plet ed. (Som e vehicles m ay not need a
t rim ring) .
The device is dist inguished by a high degree of output . During operat ion, t his result s in a st rong heat
generat ion. Therefore no cables or ot her part s m ay adj oin t he device. I f t heir insulat ion m elts, t here is
t he risk of a short circuit or fire.

Rem oving: Turn off t he device. Rem ove t he front panel and place it int o t he prot ect ive case. Clam p off
t he negat ive pole of t he vehicle batt ery for t he durat ion of t he disassem bly. First carefully rem ove t he
t rim ring ( 5) of t he unit, by slight ly pulling it upwards and t hen towards you. Now unscrew t he four
screws as shown in ( 4) . Rem ove carefully t he unit from t he m ount ing sleeve and disconnect all wires.
Make sure t hat no vehicle cable can cause a short circuit aft er t he device has been unplugged.

To at tach the front panel, insert the upper side of t he panel first and m ake sure t he connect ion pins slide
int o t he connect ion slot s and then press t he lower part of t he panel t o t he unit unt il hear a click.

Slant t he front panel down. Press t he release lock ( in t he bot t om of t he front panel) upward t o release the
front panel, and t hen take out t he front panel by pulling it downwards and t hen t owards you from t he
bot tom . Once t he front panel is rem oved, the back plat e will close autom at ically after a few seconds and
t he panel st at us indicat or will blink.
N ot e :
The cont rol panel can easily be dam aged by shocks. After rem oving it , place it in a protect ive case and
be careful not t o drop it or subj ect it t o st rong shocks. The rear connect or t hat connect s t he m ain unit and
t he cont rol panel is an ext rem ely im portant part . Be careful not t o dam age it by pressing on it wit h
fingernails, pens, screwdr iver s, etc.
N ot e :
I f t he cont rol panel is dirt y, wipe off the dirt wit h soft, dry clot h only. And use a cot t on swab soaked in
isopropyl alcohol t o clean t he socket on t he back of t he cont rol panel.

The front panel of this unit can be st ored in t he included prot ect ive case when not in used and carried away
when you leave t he vehicle t o det er t heft.
Swit ch off t he power of t he unit. Det ach the front panel, t hen put it t o t he protect ive case and t ake it wit h
you.
