10.9 Energy savings mode
menu 5.x
= Energy savings mode at sensor 3
This settings activates the energy savings mode at sensor 3. In this mode ad-
ditional heating at the corresponding relais in case of solar heating only heats
up to hysteris S3(s. 10.10 TminS3). If energy savings mode is active,
but no solar heating takes place, normal setpoint temperature is used.
Settings range: on, off / Default: off
10.10 TminS3
menu 5.x
=Minimum temperature at sensor 3 (or 6 respectively)
in
Energy
savings
mode
This value sets the minimum temperature for the thermostat function in energy
savings mode. If the temperature at sensor 3 drops below this value and the other
conditions are also met (s. 10.16), additional heating at relais R2 is switched on,
until the temperature has reached set hysteresis (s. 10.8 hysteresis)
Settings range : 0°C to 99°C / Default: 20°C
Caution
The menu entry Tmin S3 is only visible when Energy savings mode
is active.
If the temperature at sensor 4 goes beneath the temperature set here and
the other conditions are also met (s. also 10.16), the corresponding relais of
the additional heating is switched on. Additional heating remains active until
the temperature at sensor 4 has reached Tsetpoint S4 + hysteresis S4.
Settings range: 0°C to 99°C / Default: 60°C

Danger!
Temperature values which are set too high can lead to scalding
or damage to the system. Scalding protection must be provided
by the customer!
10.12 Hysteresis S4
menu 5.x
= Hysteresis for thermostatfunction via sensor 4
This setting is used to control the heating of the storage. If Tsetpoint S4 at sen-
sor 4 is exceeded by the set hysteresis, the controller activates the additional
heating at the corresponding relais.
Settings range: 0°C to 20°C / Default: 10°C
