(5) Turn on and off the MODULATION (modulation fre-
quency) of the signal generator as follows, and the LCD
indicator (Tuner 1) changes also as follows.
MODULATION ON/OFF LCD indication of Tuner 1
on signal generator
ON GP/CH indication (LCD):
The group channel will be displayed.
OFF GP/CH indication (LCD):
The group-channel indication and
"NO TONE" flash in turn.
(6) Connect the signal generator to the ANT b connector,
and perform the procedures (4) and (5) above.
Step 2. Tuner 2 Checking
(1) Set the CONTROL switch (S1601) to “2”.
(2) Connect the signal generator to the ANT a connector.
(3) Set the channel setting as follows;

Tuner 2 channel setting
Same as “1. Switch and Control Initial Setting” on
page 3-2.

Set the Tuner 1 to channel setting different from the
above Tuner 2 channel setting.
(4) Perform the checking from the procedures (4) to (6) in
“Step 1. Tuner 1 checking”.
When performing the above described checking change
the following detail as shown below.

Procedure
Step 1. Tuner 1 Checking
(1) Set the CONTROL switch (S1601) to “1”.
