Procedure
Step 1. Tuner 1 Checking
(1) Set the CONTROL switch (S1601) to “1”.
(2) Set the channel setting as follows;

Same as “1. Switch and Control Initial Setting” on
page 3-2.

Set the Tuner 2 to channel setting different from the
above Tuner 1 channel setting.
(3) Connect the audio analyzer to the OUTPUT 1 connec-
tor via MIC amp.
(4) Connect the signal generator to the ANT a connector.
(5) Set the signal generator as follows :

CE21 model : 482.000 MHz
CE33 model : 578.000 MHz
CE62 model : 810.000 MHz
CE67 model : 850.000 MHz
U1416 model : 482.125 MHz

(6) Read the output level of the OUTPUT 1 connector (Au-
dio analyzer indication level).
This level is specified to be 0 dB.
(7) Turn OFF the MODULATION of the signal generator
(No modulation).
(8) Check that output level of the OUTPUT 1 is

less (S/N is 61 dB or more with A-weighted filter) as
compared with the level of procedure (6) above.
(9) Change the RF OUTPUT (output level) of the signal
generator as shown below.
