(6) Read the output level of the OUTPUT 1 (indication of
the audio analyzer).
This level is specified to be 0 dB.
(7) Change the MODULATION (Modulation frequency)
of the signal generator as follows, and check the output
level should be as follows.

100 Hz and 15 kHz modulation frequency must be set
by using the function generator.

(8) Connect the signal generator to the ANT b connector,
and perform the procedures (5), (6) and (7).
Step 2. Tuner 2 Checking
(1) Set the CONTROL switch (S1601) to “2”.
(2) Connect the audio analyzer to the OUTPUT 2 connec-
tor via the MIC amp.
(3) Connect the signal generator to the ANT a connector.
(4) Set the channel setting as follows;
. Tuner 2 channel setting
Same as “1. Switch and Control Initial Setting” on
page 3-2.

Set the Tuner 1 to channel setting different from the
above Tuner 2 channel setting.
(5) Perform the checking from the procedures (5) to (8) in
“Step 1. Tuner 1 checking”.
When performing the above described checking change
the following detail as shown below.

Procedure
Step 1. Tuner 1 Checking
(1) Set the CONTROL switch (S1601) to “1”.
(2) Set the channel setting as follows;
