Procedures
1. Turn on the power. After about 3 seconds later, the
status indications are displayed on the EL display.

If the EL display is unlit, press the DISPLAY button.
2. Press the MENU dial to display the main menu.
3. Set the cursor to “Status” by turning the MENU dial.
4. Press the MENU dial to display the Status menu.
5. Set the cursor to “EL Timer” by turning the MENU
dial.
6. Reset the elapsed time of the EL display by perform-
ing the following steps (1) to (3).
(1) Change the cursor to “?” by pressing the MENU
dial.
(2) Change the value of the timer to “Reset” by
turning the MENU dial.
(3) Press the MENU dial to reset the timer.
7. Press the CANCEL button twice. The display returns
to the status indications.
8. Turn off the power, and remove the ROM-28 board.
9. Restore the AT-156 board to the original position.
1-17. Resetting the Timer
The elapsed time of the EL display can be displayed by
selecting the Status menu.
Generally, although “EL Timer” is only display, if the
ROM-28 board is connected, the timer can be reset.
When the EL display is replaced, perform the following
procedures to reset the timer.

Preparation
Perform the steps 1 and 2 of Section 1-16, and set the
switch S1 on the ROM-28 board to opposite side of
DOWN LOAD.
